GTA V – Grand Theft Auto Review

GTA V is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, on 18 November 2014 for the fourth generation of Microsoft Windows personal computers, the first to support Windows 8 or higher, and finally on 14 April 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions.

Genre: Action-adventure, third-person shooter

Action-adventure games are a subgenre of role-playing video games that emphasize physical challenges, such as traversing obstacles and often involve additional puzzle elements. The term “action” refers to the player’s ability to control the character, while “adventure” is a reference to their ability to explore new locales.

Action-adventure games have been around since the introduction of adventure games in the early 1980s on home computers; however, they did not become popular until later as consoles became available for gaming enjoyment. Since then there has been great interest in this genre among game developers worldwide because it provides players with an engaging experience where they can use their own skills and creativity to solve problems within each environment (e.g., finding weapons).

GTA V follows three protagonists: Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton. They are all members of the Los Santos Vagos gang who have been sent to kill the leader of their rivals the Ballas gang called Catalina O’Hara. However when they arrive at her mansion it seems that she has disappeared leaving behind a letter saying “It’s over.” They then go out looking for her but end up getting caught up in something much bigger than themselves as well as meeting some new people along the way including Andreas Pavels (the antagonist) who has plans for revenge against Catalina O’Hara too!

Conclusion

While GTA V is an excellent game and Rockstar has done a great job with it, the story does not live up to the rest of the game. The game plays like any other Grand Theft Auto game but it lacks in some areas such as missions. There are many side missions but they don’t offer much replay value due to how simple they are compared to other games in this genre like Saints Row 2 or Red Dead Redemption which both have had better stories than GTA V even though they’re older games than this one!
