How to use SN Writer Tool to Write IMEI on MediaTek Devices
- Download and install the MediaTek USB VCOM drivers on your computer.
- Download the SN Writer Tool and extract the files to a folder on your computer.
- Launch the SN Writer Tool by double-clicking the “SN Writer.exe” file.
- Click on the “ComPort” button and select the COM port that corresponds to your MediaTek device.
- Click on the “Target Type” button and select the type of device you want to write or change the IMEI on.
- Click on the “System Config” button and select the configuration file that corresponds to your device model.
- Click on the “IMEI” button and enter the new IMEI number(s) you want to write to your device. You can enter multiple IMEI numbers if your device supports multiple SIM cards.
- Click on the “Start” button to begin writing the IMEI number(s) to your device.
- Wait for the process to complete, which can take several minutes.
- Once the process is complete, disconnect your device from the computer and reboot it.
